NEWS..........
And Briefly........
TERRY ( "Fucking Smart Bloke" ) TOWNSEND
Terry is visiting these shores from
stateside. He is "travelling" around with his
lovely wife Denise. As those of you who
know him they are extremely busy, seeing
old friends and family. They have both paid
a visit to the club when a few of us met up
and reminised. ( Click of photo to enlarge )
Denise will be returning to the states shortly, leaving Terry to catch-up in true O.As. fashion.
He, and I dare say several others, will be having a drink at the clubhouse on Saturday the 12th July. All are invited - not sure what time we're starting but my guess is that it will be early - contact clubhouse - Dave Sidney, Phill Burr or Geoff Bull for a more precise time.
It was great to see him strut about on the training pitch - proving that there is still life in the old dog yet - even though it was for only 15 Mins. - Hope you're better at drinking Tel.

The trip is open to 30 players / supporters only as this is a very busy bank holiday weekend for all Bournemouth Hotels.
The trip cost £65. This includes coach, accommodation and breakfast.
It will be on a first come first served basis - you've been warned ( Bob Wrong )
See or phone me to reserve your place - £20 now remainder by 16th August.
Preseason training
Pre-season training has started. At the moment we are just playing touch rugby. It starts at 19.15 each Tuesday and will continue until June 24th where normal service will be resumed.
All welcome old and new players alike.
New Playing Shirts ( Sponsored by Howden Insurance Brokers )
It has been decided that we are going to change the fabric our playing shirts are made of. We are going over to the material used by the Southern hemisphere clubs - Polyester. The shirts will be made by the world famous Samurai manufacturer.
The new shirt is light-weight, breathable, does not shrink and is lighter to wear when wet.
They will be short sleeved with a grandad type collar.
These shirts come highly recommended from our South-African contingent, who have experienced playing in them previously.
The shirts are currently in the ordering stage and those members who require a personal shirt must contact a committee member before 16th June.
They are measured by chest size so ensure you know this when ordering. They will be around £40 and a £20 deposit will be required when placing your order.
